a new moon tonight

Before you, Bella, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars, point of light and reason.

And then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire, there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you were gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything went black. Nothing had changed, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I couldn't see the stars anymore. And there was no more reason for anything...

WORLD AIDS DAY

21 years ago, a summit of health ministers realized that a united global effort was required to halt the spread of HIV. today marks 20th  World AIDS Day and it's scary knowing the amount of people who die from AIDS every year. 

the main reason HIV and AIDS still able to affect millions of lives around the world is by the ignorance of humans. those who believe that they won't contract HIV, that it's not so easy to get it, that it just affect people in Africa or it's a gay disease, and the lack of knowledge of the virus. and to the public and society who make it taboo, who cause fear into people who have, or think they have HIV. especially in a country like ours. 

so while the doctors search for the cure for HIV, we as human beings should cure the ignorance of us humans.
