the main reason HIV and AIDS still able to affect millions of lives around the world is by the ignorance of humans. those who believe that they won't contract HIV, that it's not so easy to get it, that it just affect people in Africa or it's a gay disease, and the lack of knowledge of the virus. and to the public and society who make it taboo, who cause fear into people who have, or think they have HIV. especially in a country like ours.

so while the doctors search for the cure for HIV, we as human beings should cure the ignorance of us humans.

memory is a funny thing isn't it, like a neutral agent. it keeps all your happy memories and replays it back for you to relive. but then there are some times when it just reminds you of something totally random and it just makes your day feeling disheartened.

like one of those happy memories, but something happened, and it ended not so delightful.... and your memory just flashes it just like that, and your day just goes downhill from there... then as a bonus it reminds you of other sad stuff just for fun.

if only we can store what we want and delete what makes us unhappy, like a computer. but then again thats life for you... so many questions you can't find the answer for, so many moments you hoped would turn out in your own way.

2 more weeks to our assessments.... another 14 days and the end of the first half year of year 2. how can you say time is flying too fast.....

haiz it's hard to please everyone these days, I can't even please myself. I'm starting to find out that being an artist is tougher then it looks. how do you please yourself while pleasing everyone else.

I dunno why but I love watching Survivor =] maybe it's like watching a social experiment where it's just like real life, but without the camping in the middle of no where with not much food and water while competing in tough and sometimes almost ridiculous obstacle courses while making sure you don't get voted out.

other then that it's similar.

like making alliances in the game are just like making friends in real life, babysitting personalities of other people in your tribe is just like tolerating people you don't like but have to in life,

wining challenges of both reward and immunity is like fighting for the things you want in life,

the voting out of the weak is like rejecting the bad in life that will make you stronger,

pleasing people in your tribe so people won't want to vote you out, just in real life you can't get voted out,

so recently I went and got myself The Script's album and it's pretty good in my opinion, and I'm currently hooked on their song "The Man Who Can't Be Moved", a song you shouldn't listen to if your being emo..... really love the lyrics...

so I was a little bored the other day so I went to watch the apple videos for the new ipod nano, ipod touch and iphone 3G, bad idea..... cause the geek in me started to go crazy over it, so now I'm torn between the new ipod nano and touch, even though I must say the new ipod touch seems more fun. still the new nano has lots os great features as well..... not amounting to the fact that I don't have the money to buy any of them.... but who knows, maybe I'd save enough money soon (and knowing apple, they might release a new version as soon as I get mine)

so, 16 days of Olympics has come to an end, I must say this is the first Olympics that I was so into.... the many achievements and milestones that was, got me watching (besides the endless ranting of how the opening was the best the world has ever seen), a big part being the hype of Michael Phelps and his 8 golds in a single Olympics, rewriting history, to the silver medal Singapore won in the Woman's Team Table Tennis event after 48 years (they should totally make it a public holiday after that).

then there are the smaller heroes who deserve mentioning as well, Matthew Mitcham (below), an Australian diver won Gold in his 10m Platform event, crashing Chinas hopes for a clean-sweep of Golds at diving (GO MATT!), scoring a 112.10 in his final dive, the highest single-dive score in Olympic history, and he is the first Aussie male to win an Olympic Gold medal in diving since 1924.

Novak Djokovic of Serbia, delivered their first medal in Tennis, taking Bronze (GO NOVAK!!... no pics sadly)

so it's another 4 years before it all starts over again, (maybe Phelps wants 9 Golds next time?) 2012 in London, and I must say the little peak into what it'll look like in 2012 got me intrigue.

and I have an uncanny feeling that I sound like a journalist for the above post....

in other news, I have a new found respect for divers everywhere, I was watching the Olympics 10m platform semi's and I realize it takes more strength and courage to jump of a 10m high platform while doing some complicated somersaults in mid air while holding your body in a tight position while trying to land into the pool nicely while trying to keep your swimsuit on...... so a big salute to them...

if you haven't known, the Singapore woman's table tennis team got into the finals in the Olympics, even though they were no match against the China team (I'm typing this after the final match) they still secured a silver and the first medal after 48 year, I was so darn happy and proud when I heard that after long last Singapore got herself a medal in the Olympics.

don't ask me where this patriotism is coming from cause I have no idea myself, but it's there.... (even if the two who compete in the match were both born in china)

on a complete random note, Adam Levine got himself a new tattoo....

today's a sad day, not only is it freezing cold and wet, but one of my favs on American Idol got voted out! David Hernandez!! which I thought was one of the stronger contestant and though i thought may not win but at least make it like top 6 or something. but really this years top 12 has been the best and it's hard to see anyone leave. haiz so ends a cold day. I hope that we (or maybe in this case only me) get to see David on a CD cover in the near future non the less.

wow I've just notice this is my 100th blog post and it's been running for more then a year.... somehow I feel old

and ya ya , I know I haven't been blogging...... the month of Feb was damn busy with school work, then tutorial week started, not much different man, just didn't have to wake up at 8 every morn..... still went to sch four out of five days... then went to Changi T3 on Fri for complimentary studies, it's sight studying, or something like that, went there for the whole damn day, and we got damn tired after that lah....... on hindsight, kindda was dumb of us. anyway 80% of the time spent was unproductive.... haha, it was spent at Yah Kun, TCC, Breeks and just walking aimlessly.... but in the end we decided on a location, and I'm damn proud to say that it was my idea... HEE HEE =D

this year Fine Arts I got to say is my most interesting year in NAFA ever, though it has only been two years lah, from stalkers to storytellers, from love confessions to unmentionable love, from 'I SWEAR' to 'OH MYYY GWWWWAAADDD", the three Fine Arts classes got it all..... insane......

can't wait for MAROON 5 concert!!! omg I'm so going... I wanna go stalk them everywhere the go lah...... though I haven't actually got tickets... cos I'm waiting for someone.... -.- ok I'm so going the concert no matter what, even if I have to go alone......

oh and my old laptop has currently gone to laptop heaven, waiting till I have the time to try and revive it, so thus, good news, I GOT A MACBOOK! and have been cam-whoring like shit lah, screw the iPhone and Macbook Air, Photoboothe is the best invention apple has ever created. haha XD.

so I'm keeping my word in trying to blog everyday. but really nothing much happened, I went to help do a little Christmas shopping for my mom and I went to Toys'R'Us (coz it's for a P1 kid) and I think I was overwhelmed with toys, I dunno, hv never been overwhelmed by toys before, it's just soo.... overwhelming.... geddit? haha anyway that's what little happen today.

oh and I got a High School Musical hardcover notebook for bout 5 bucks at mini toons =), I don't know to be embarrassed or be proud that I love shows like High School Musical or Enchanted. and since I stating it here I guess I still not shy to tell the world HSM and Enchanted ROX! lol.

but lets get serious, and not be serious, why would we wanna be embarrassed by shows like HSM or Enchanted, especially for a guy?? issit because it's kiddish? cliché? gay? liking something doesn't make who we are, nor should it. shouldn't we all see the bigger picture of the story? HSM is bout not being afraid of who you can be, and not live your life as a cliché. Enchanted is bout not giving up on dreaming, and that true love exists and that we should be with someone not because we have to, but want too.

you might say we need to grow up and such things don't happen, but if you're afraid, if you don't try, how would you know. 'you will only have lost if you gave up' no? and I think, as we grow in age, we lose the innocent and fun part of us, and it's just not healthy.

'Sup Bithches!! hahaha, well so I redid my blogskin... again, I dunno, I'm never liked liked the blogskins on blogger, but I'm too lazy to search other sites =P. well holis have been boring, 'cept doing Christmas shopping and some other stuff since it started.

I had my very first paid job of the year... t'was... interesting I suppose... all I remember was glitter, ciggs and this 'uncle' who lets just say was there for the refreshments. and interesting clients list since it's considered a, quote on quote, higher class event, hell it was at ONE degree 15... the luxurious... marine residential?? or a hotel... but whateva, I'm getting paid, it's all that matters.... hahahaha

saw ONE movie (so far, lol) which was Enchanted, as you may know.... AND I REALLY LIKED IT, I wanna go again, I don't care, haha, but weekday lah, cheaper..... hahahaha. James Marsden was HILARIOUS! and Amy Adams was a perfect Disney Princess, and Susan Saranden's Evil Stepmother Witch, though brief, was really great. but the star of the show, though he didn't had a lot of cam time, was PIP THE CHIPMUNK!! hahaha he totally cracks me up, I really don't want to spoil it so you go catch it!!

well I'm ashmed of myself, I did somethings that I told myself I would nv do... but I did......................
I took Neoprints and got a Facebook account... you must be giving that look I always give huh... hahaha, but I guess I went against my values... or something like that.... lol. well I kindda had fun with the neoprints, and facebook is kindda fun.... but I'm still ashamed of myself.... hehe

Then on to Lau Pa Sat to have food. then we went to a kindergarden/child care center to help paint a room, we ended up having lots of fun. tired too, hahaha.

How bout that, getting all excited about seeing Daughtry and ended up listening to them from the outside, how fucked up is that!! the doors open at 7 and I was there 6.55, AND APPARENTLY ITS NOT EARLY ENOUGH. I was damn close to entering man, how close was I, I was FUCKING close, FUCKING CLOSE!! that's how close!!! AND HOW FULL CAN IT BE! if you let people enter even after you say its a full house? A FEW AT A TIME?!?!?! why do you let them enter if it's a full house??? then what about those who were next in line?? those people can enter and I can't?? if you were going to allow people entry even after the showcase has started, then you shouldn't drag!!!

And my line was freaking long can, imagine after waiting in such a long line and coming so close to entering and DIDN'T!!!!!!!!!

hello hello, Happy Post National Day =) not that I'm that excited though lolz. ah yes national day, the one day where everyone is just a little bit more patriotic then usual. but I just gotta say, my interest on ND has slowly faded away throughout the years, one of the reason being that it's just getting more and more boring. and don't get me started on the national day song, "will you"???? WTF, what happen to songs like "Home" by Kit Chan or "Where I Belong" by Tanya Chua, they ain't finding the right people to write these songs anymore.

well what did you do on ND?? I was stupid enough to want to catch the fireworks "in the flash" (pun intended) and so I headed down to marina bay hoping to get a few nice pics. I honestly regretted it.

since marina bay is like a 20 min walk from my house, I started to walk from Clarke Quay at 7.15, I was all exited carrying my tripod and camera along heading to my destination, half way on my journey I started to see the amount of people gathered started to increase and I totally expected it so I just went on my merry way. when I start nearing the Fullerton Hotel, that's when everything was pretty chaotic, there were people everywhere, on the grass fields, sitting on the railings, everywhere!! I thought it's kindda normal for this much of people to gather, so I continued to push through the crowd. then, I hit a road block, literally, just outside the Fullerton Hotel, it was so packed that I could not even squeeze myself through. not being that stupid I started to turn back and head out of the crowd. I found a spot where there ain't many people, so I stood there waiting for the fireworks, it was about 8.05 by then and the fireworks were gonna start soon, alright so the the fireworks started and everyone started snapping, so did I(I didn't even use my tripod coz there weren't any place to set up) and what a let down it was, I'll cover on that in a while.

so the fireworks popped and the people cheered and cameras snapped, and when everything was over, what do we do, leave right, that's what the hundreds and thousands of people who crammed around the bay wanted to do, all at once.... while traffic was still moving and Police Officers screaming "PLEASE STAY ON THE PAVEMENT!!!" apparently many people think that coz it's national day, or maybe that after the show, roads will be closed so that they can leave the small, hot, stuffy position they were at, THE ANSWER'S NO PEOPLE!!!. well apparently many didn't process that in their mind and started crossing the road without even thinking. and that's not the worst part, imagine the hundreds and thousands leaving through small pathways... and if you know Singapore well, you'll know there are many who can't wait and have to shove their way thorough the slow moving crowd.

I was not that dumb, I stood at a corner and allow the eager crowd to leave first. I pitied the Police Officer, at the same time, saluting them for clearing the crowd in around 30 min. well on to the fireworks, one word, disappointing, and I'm being nice. honestly a let down, a few pretty interesting ones, many ordinary colored ones and some big ones at the end. boring people... my heart wasn't racing, I wasn't in awed. adding up the regret for going. I remembered one New Years Party and the firework were bright and colorful, and it was so large and loud my heart was pounding n my chest. maybe it was also the fact that I was at a bad location....

ok so the new experience is kindda fun, not at all stressed, lol =), but not counting my chickens before they hatch, life can get more stressful with the weeks to come.

So what will you be doing on the National Day?? or on the eve?? well unless someone ask me out, I'd be at home alone..... even my mom would be getting more "action" than me, she'd be heading to Clarke Quay to club on wed night and out with friends to catch the fireworks on national day...

well, 4 months has come and gone.... most people are excited to get back to school, not me though, for reasons some may know, some may not. but I'm content to at least enjoy the last few days... still, it's hard not to feel down.

I recently wrote a song... and since I don't own a musical instrument, let alone know how to play one, I guess it's considered a poem. so here it is.

hello, well I'm blogging again coz I'm just sitting in front of my screen bored out of my mind.

so last Thursday I got to catch TRANSFORMERS IN 2K DIGITAL!! boy they weren't kidding when they say it was better visual and sound quality, I was blown out of my mind, and the visual effects, when the autobots transformed was mind blowing, totally awesome. I can't wait for the sequel, and hope the story line would be better. but all in all, I think one of the best action movie this year.

then on 7/7/07, Live Earth! damn did you get to catch it?? yes I'm passionate about it, ANSWER THE CALL!! lolz, I tell you it's ridicules the little changes we can do to help the environment and stop global warming.

oh and I was channel surfing and I switched to kids central and it happened to be airing Blue's Clues! haha classics. anyway I was just wondering what ever happen to "Steve" so I went online, and I found out that he's now actually in a rock band, and I was laughing at the irony of someone on a children's show would be in a rock band, oh and I saw this pic on his myspace page

which I think is so cute, his old shirt from BC, a little stuff toy off him and sitting on the "thinking chair" and can you believe thats the same "Steve" which sang with a blue dog... haha I know it' a little random.

Well I havent been blogging coz I'm to lazy, completely and utterly lazy, come to think of it, why do i have to blog so much, not many of you read my blog anyway.

anyhow lets see, my previous weekend was interesting, got to get out of the country, to kuantan, a spot in malaysia. It was ok lah, didn't do much shopping too. I got to catch a sunrise though, that was interesting, here's a pic.

well thats the most intreasting parts of that weekend, cosidering I got sick on th trip, fuck fuck fuck.

anyway the folloing week was boring again, than fast forword to this past monday, went to catch Zodiac at Vivo, I actully really liked it, though it was like 3 hours long, my body was numb by the end. but I think it was a good movie, Mark and Jake and Robert were great in the show.

anyway went to watch Nacey Drew on wednesday and it was good, worth a watch I say. this made me thinking, I find crtics review movies as a genaral, and dramas with deep meanigs earn good reviews. like Nancy Drew was rated 2 stars, but I say it's better that that, not to mention that it's a family film and should be seen as that, thus it think it should have a better rating

wow, 2 whole weeks without blogging, honestly there's just nothing to blog about.

so anyway I caught Shrek 3 on sunday and Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End on tuesday with amal and daniel, Shrek 3 was ok, not bad but a bit lame, hahaha, but Pirates of the Caribbean was good, not the typical happily ever after endin I must say. all in all it was time well spent.

Well ok, so I said my laptop was...... no, IS still on the fritz, but I still could log on to the Internet, so what the hell, might as well blog lah.

So, went to watch Bridge to Terabithia today, and I gotta say it was actually VERY NICE, the movie is very innocent, I'm not gonna spoil it if you want to go catch it, but I will say it kinda brings you back when we were younger, imagined whole new worlds and being superheroes and stuff. and there's a big twist in the middle, that part just pulled and tug at all of my heart-strings, hard.

Which brings me back to how innocent the movie is, and I thought, as we grow up, we kinda lose that innocence in us, don't we. the ability to have fun with just about anything we can find. to create a whole new world without feeling stupid. I feel we need to retain a part of that innocence coz sometimes, we need to escape to another world for a while, and forget bout the world around us.

hahahaha yes that's what I think, ok done, till my next post, maybe it'll be bout my Maroon 5 album lolz.

hello, well it was mother's day yesterday and I think my mom liked her gift, wonder why she was surprise when I told her I had a gift for her already.

then on sat, had a stall at the LIME flea market, horrible wouldn't cut it, it was hot, stuffy and all I sold was a book, for a dollar, the around 5 plus it poured like mad, and we had to 'evacuate' that place. wasn't very fun I tell you.

hey hey, I just got back from a short holiday in Malacca and it was....... ok, the nights are cool, the mornings are kindda cold and the afternoons feels like walking in an oven, it was scorching hot man, haha, but it was kindda fun, at least I got to get out of the country for a while. and I will have another trip to another part of Malaysia in June and I'm kindda excited for that, hahahaha, will include details next time.

anyway the short trip to Malacca was good, 'cept for the burning heat in the afternoon, lol, I got two tops for like 8 bucks $ing each lah, effing cheap, and we got to see some sea turtles (2 to be exact, lol) and they were absolutely precious little creatures (ok they were not that little, haha)

I'm not gonna sit here and say I know what you all are going through but it's never easy to lose someone you know let alone in a tragic incident like this. Just want to say my heart goes out to all off you.

Can you believe, more then 30 people were shot, so many innocent lives lost, lives which had such great future ahead, lives of good people...... below is an article I read about the victims of the VTech massacre..

They came to Blacksburg, Va., from all over the country — and all over the world. They came to study, and they came to teach. They had plans. They had friends. They had families.
As the list of confirmed victims in Monday's massacre on the Virginia Tech campus grew, so too did the number of stories about the individuals who fell victim to the gunman, 23-year-old Cho Seung-Hui of Centreville, Va.

There were stories of heroism. Students of Liviu Librescu, an engineering science and mechanics lecturer, say he blocked the door of his classroom with his body to protect those inside. Librescu, 76, was a Holocaust survivor.

Ryan Clark, a popular and gregarious member of the Marching Virginians band, was just weeks away from graduation. A resident adviser on the fourth floor of the West Ambler Johnston dorm, Clark came to the aid of a student the morning of April 16. It cost him his life.

wow can you believe it, it's the last day of school!! only 2 weeks of assement and 4 MONHTS and 1 WEEK of HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!! thats a long, long, long time. I'm so gonna need to get a job.

on thurs me, amal and daniel went to the IT fair at suntech, but not berofe stopping by a cd shop which are selling like $6.50 a cds!!!!! I got 4 cds, Liberty X-Being Somebody, Gavin DeGraw-Chariot, Gareth Gates-Go Your Own Way and Celine Dion-A New Day Has Come. DAMN HAPPY LAH!!!!!!!!! thanx daniel =) xoxoxoxoxoxo. don't ask me how are the cds cuz I'm still listenin them, 4 CDs mind you, ok.

oooooooooooooo and I'm so going to get my Digital SLR lah, DAMN HAPPY AGAIN LAH. goin to get Canon EOS D400, and my mom ask me if I wanna buy a desktop lah, like I want one but I dunno where I'm gonna put it and I dunno if I want to change to use a desktop, use to a laptop liao. but I'll still be getting a printer though. it's not that I don't believe in God or that I don't prey to them and I know it's for my own good but it's just not ME!

ah fuck, still sick, went to the docs today and he said i will only fully recover in 2 3 days. carp. and the thing is my mind is full of energy but my body is to tired to move, I feel like my body's not listening to my brain.

didn't go to school today, on MC, bitter sweet I tell you, mostly sweet lah :P I finely did something for complimentary studies and I can't go to school, fuck. but then I don't have to deal with "the wind" so that’s good. and it also means I get to watch the Academy Awards live this morning, (GO JENNIFER HUDSON!!!) and it was a great show. I might just watch it again tonight.

ah man, have not been feeling well these three day, down with a fever, flu and have been coughing non stop............... and maybe I've passed the flu bug to someone else :P

anyway despite being sick on Friday, I went to catch Dreamgirls and boy was it good, even my friend who didn't want to watch it at first came out saying it was a fantastic show. especially Jennifer Hudson's performance was exceptionally good. and when she was performing "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going", I swear I heared snuffles all around, even I was teary eyed after that :P damn glad I got the soundtrack, and I'm gonna get the DVD when it's out :)

offered to cook for them today, no wait, it was my mom who offered me to cook for them today, I cooked against my will haha :P but it wasn't that bad today, I kinda had fun. damn tired now.

oh and one of my favorite artists Natasha Bedingfield will be releasing her new single "I Wanna Have Your Babies"(weird title I know, but its good) on the 16th of April followed by the new album on the 30th of April :) You can listen to her new single on my myspace via a player under my "music" section. HELLO HELLO!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE, SPREAD THE LOVE!!!!!!!!!!

Let’s start from Monday, I think that was my most rebels’ day ever, coz I didn't go to school for no reason..... oh wait I did, I wanted to watch the Grammy’s at 9 a.m. (it was live from America that’s why) lol yes I skipped class for the Grammy’s, sigh, what to do when you love music....... ahaahahaha

And then we have today, V-DAY!! yes. To me, V-day is not only for two but also for friends (especially when you single like me, hehe) I bought for my class chocolate, and I think they liked it, heeheehee :) Anyway I wasn’t expecting anything back from anyone, but I got a Kinder Bueno and a Lollypop :) Thank you Eleanor, Gracia, Daniel and Serena :)

Got quite a lot of things to blog about today, lets begin with realizing that the date and time on my blog is wrong. I've noticed the time was wrong but I couldn't be botherer but now I don't know why my dat is wrong also so I'm gonna post the date at the bottom of every post.

Next is the three new CDs I got. They are Dreamgirls The Original Soundtrack, The Wreckers and Mario Vazquez. Fisrt up, the Dreamgirls Soungtrack.

The Dreamgirls Soundtrack is very nice, it has that '60s '70s Motown feel to it and the songs are great. The actors/singers bring out the soul of the song; you wanna move to the up beat songs and cry listening to the ballads. Speaking of ballads, the bit of this CD which is totally worth my $21.95 is that Jennifer Hudson who plays Effie White is one of them singing in the soundtrack. Her voice is simply beautiful and soulful, no matter if it's her up beat "I Love You I Do" or her heart-reanching "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going", it's simply DEVINE!! She has such a huge voice that she can totally nail those high high notes, and if you listen to "It's All Over" you can hear that she is a FANTASTIC actress as well and if you can tell that by listening, imagine watching her, she totally deserve that Golden Globe she won. She makes Beyonce seem like a small fry (and I'm sorry for saying that but it's true). I'm totally gonna watch Dreamgirls when it come out on 22nd FEB, if not it's to watch Jennifer Hudson. I don't think I need to tell you which are my favorite songs on the album huh. Well here's a pic of the cover.

Second is The Wreckers album Stand Still, Look Pretty. The Wreckers are Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp; you should know who Michelle Branch is. Stand Still, Look Pretty is also a great album; Jessica Harp's and Michelle Branch's voices harmonize like two birds in spring, beautifully. The album is a good blend of Pop and Country, another great harmony. Lyrics are beautiful and somehow catchy, but it's not your usual Pop kinda catchy. They have songs you can sing along too and songs which are very lyrical. First single "Leave the Pieces" was beautifully written and catchy enough to keep you listening. The first 7 songs have a Pop element to it so it's easy to listen too, after that they get more Country and it won't sound like what you here on the radio, but still great to listen. Title song "Stand Still, Look Pretty" gets you into the more country sound but still you wanna sing along to it and the lyrics to me is the best on the album, though it's only bout 2 min 45 sec long. So my favorite songs are "Leave the Pieces", "Tennessee" and "Stand Still, Look Pretty". Here's the cover.

Lastly but surly not the least is Mario Vazquez. I got his album a few weeks ago but never had time to post an entry on it, plus my laptop broke down remember?? Ok so Mario Vazquez, he's the guy who dropped out of American Idol Season 3 remember, but I'm glad he did, coz I don't think his album would sound like it dose if he had continued or won it. His album mixes a blend of Soul, RnB and Latin sounds which actually is very nice. He has a very soulful but also a little raspy voice which is unique and works to his advantage. His First Single "Gallery" melts hearts with its lyrics and Mario's voice, it was release much earlier so I think you have listen to it before and agree with me. And he doesn’t stop there, songs like "One Shot" and "Just a Friend" will also totally melt you with its lyrics and of coz Mario's voice. He ups the beats a little to songs like "I Bet" and "Everytime I..." and he'll make you move to his dncefloor hits like "Cohiba" and "She's Got Me". And I have to say that there is some thing 'bout South Americans that I just can't resist, heeheehee, and nor will you, if you need proof just find me and I'll convince you. Favs on the album are "Gallery", "One Shot", "Everytime I..." and "I Bet". Here's the cover.

Ok on the next topic. Last week I joined a contest for Prison Break AND I WON!!!!! I won two tics to watch the premiere of the Prison Break season finale at The Cathay. And I tell you I got totally high after the whole experience. If you feel very excited and always on the edge of you seats everytime when you’re watching it at home, IMAGINE IT ON A BIG SCREEN, PLUS SUROUND SOUND. When all you see and hear is Prison Break, you feel like your a part of the whole thing, it's a totally trippin and different experience, I still have not shaken off this high I have yet. Oh and did I mention I'm gonna be on TV, heeheehee, I was one of the interviewed after the show and I was so excited!! AHAAHAHA, one of the reasons I'm as high as I am. I'm pretty sure I'll be on and I think it'll air 2mr after the ep of Prison Break. Be sure to catch ah!! heeheehee. I got a pic of the stub. Limited Edition can't be bought anywhere, heehee.

And now to my finale topic, I went to my lecturer Brian Gothong Tan's "Signs Omens and Relics of Faith" interactive multi-channel video installation (long ar) today and it'll be to much work to type out how I felt 'bout it so I'm not gonna. If you want you can find me and I'll tell you. In short it makes really you think and I feel it's very interesting, so kudos to you Brian, I really like it. I hope you can show some support, it's at 72-13 Mohamed Sultan Road so you can pop by if you're going to ZOUK or Clark Quae coz it's quite near. It's till this Sun 4th of Feb.

YES I got my laptop back.... but the sad thing is, I lost all my files inside, damn man, what a shity feeling. At least I can surf the net again....heehee.

You know this few days without my laptop I was so bored at home, after watching TV I would return to my room and sit there and wonder what I shd do, then I would give up thinking and go to sleep, when it's like 12 when I normally sleep at 1 plus 2. Now I've reallize I'm really acddicted to my laptop, though I keep telling myself I'm not, I've become one of the many "Internet Zombies" AHAAHA!!!!!!!!!! The harsh fact of reality, lol.

My school's holding It's open house these three days, 25th to 27th of JAN. It's wierd to see others from secondry school, when just last year I graduated and entered NAFA. I can't wait for the orientation for the new batch of "freshies" though, wanna see if they put them through the same humiliation as us, heeheehee. I hope they do, muhaahaha!!!

Yes it's good to have my laptop back! I feel so alive again..... ahaaha!!

I apologies for my previous post and not been updating my blog. 2007 was not that kind to me, lets see I broke my phone, my laptop is down(I'm useing my school's com rite now) and I droped my Student Pass AND my bus pass...... yes it's been quite bad.

But things are looking up, SOMEONE RETURNED MY STUDENT AND BUS PASS!!! I was so happy now I dont have to remake a student pass. I still have to remake my bus pass though coz I cancled it last week. And my laptop will be ready in one or two days. And I got a new hair cut and color, AHAAHA.......ok thats all......shall blog after I get my com back :)

Sometimes you forget how much you love a song in the first place, then you go back and take another listen again and all the reasons comes pouring back. That's what happen when I listen to Come What May again(but the video is only half of what is on the original soundtrack though), I remembered how much I loved the movie and the song. Then the song Powerless, I found this other video version of powerless which I kind of prefer, seems very indie. Enjoy.

Went to watch my friend on The Dance Floor yesterday. The Dance Floor was.......intresting........thats all I can say... Ahaaha I was so tired after screming and shouthing my lungs out cheering for him lol. Ok so it's the start of my tutorial week and kind of dreading it. have to go back on tuse and wed this week, oh well. and I've not started on my homework either. damn.

not much happen this past week, was "layz-ing" at home all day. but I did went out and got IL DIVO's new CD Siempre and gwad is it great, I never thought I would like classical opera, but IL DIVO is like a whole other league. I decided to give IL DIVO a try and got their 2nd album Ancora before and I'm a fan ever since. never understand a word they are singing though, but I'd always get Goosebumps every time I here it.

OK on to more serious stuff. SO LISTEN UP!

as you can see on the side of my blog you see a new segment (though there's three new ones I've added) called "Causes to Support" and they are links to different organizations that I support. most of it are campaigns to help fight the AIDS pandemic in this world.

It all started with ALDO Youtaids campaign, then ONE which is the new tagline (or word) for Make Poverty History campaign and M.A.C cosmetics AIDS fund. And this year I've added a new organization started by Bono from U2 called (RED) which I think is a very fresh and new concept campaign. Then you see GAP (PRODUCT) RED, apple i-pod (PRODUCT) RED and so on which are companies that are a partner in the (RED) campaign. For more information on how you can help please click on the links.

to motivate you more here are some facts about AIDS and worldwide

1. Over 40 million people are living with AIDS worldwide
2. Almost half of the all the adults with AIDS or HIV are woman
3. About 14 000 people contract AIDS or HIV everyday
4. About 3 million people die of AIDS every year
5. Then bout another 5 million contract AIDS or HIV every year
6. More then half of all newly infections occur among the ages of 15 and 24
7. AIDS kills one child every minute
8. Most newly infected people aren’t aware that they have AIDS

And the worst thing is, there is still no cure for AIDS unless found early, so what we can do is spread the word and educate people and we can donate what seems a little amount of money to send live saving drugs to support the AIDS pandemic in Africa. Even if you can't fork out money, all you have to do is lend your voice and spared the word.

I sincerely hope you lend a hand in helping to prevent AIDS in this world.

Happy New Year Everyone!!

Wow, a year has just come and gone. It seems like just yesterday I started NAFA, and now I have spent half a year in there.
Lots of people told me that 2006 was a bad year for them, I find it one of the best, I have really open up more to people and I'm less shy. You won't believe how quiet I was in Pri and Sec school.....I was damn shy.....and I put on like 9kg!! Then I drop another 4 when I entered NAFA..... must be all the stress..... So now I'm 55kg (I was 49!! when I came out of sec 4)... trying to get to 60, or at least gain back that 4kg I've lost.....

Well that’s all in the past, all last year's news, and its strange referring yesterday as last year.... OK so LAST YEAR!..(which is only four days ago) I went to watch The Curse of the Golden Flower and the next day Night at The Museum, both grate shows but I won't go into detail coz like I said, it's all last year. Then on Sat when to one of my friends dance competition and he won 2nd!! CONGRETS!! and again I won't go into details... but here's a pic after the win....he's the guy in white

Went to watch the fireworks display at Marina Bay... was nice but not as good as last year, this year it was only bout 8 mins long compared to last year's 15 mins. I think coz they sent too much on last year display that they need to cut down this year.....heehee......here are some pictures

OK 2007, time to make New Year's resolutions... I know I tell people that I don't make resolutions coz I won't keep them...... so treat them as things I wanna achieve for myself no matter if its the New Year or anything...

SPEAK LOUDER!!! : Yes to speak up, I do feel sometimes I speak to soft.
To Be Proud of Who I Am : Be proud of who I am, Asian, with color in my skin.... I'm opinionative and straight forward, I don't give a damn if you think I'm different. I will never be that Big, Rough, Macho, Manly Man you see on TV... DEAL WITH IT!!
